The Sorim Temple (少林寺) is better known by its Chinese name, Shaolin Temple. It is a Buddhist temple whose monks (with shaven heads and practice kung fu. In some (not all) Korean martial arts comics, the monks not only have shaven heads but have tell-tale marks on top of their heads. They specialize in certain techniques with their body and footwork.
